Psychological Safety
The first in the Connections in Mind Neuro Lab series explores Psychological Safety — the foundation for learning, growth, and performance. Yet it’s often the missing piece in classrooms, workplaces, and coaching spaces.
In this session, special guest Dr Kerri Betts, neurodivergent researcher and founder of Neurodiversity CIC, will share insights from her work on neuro-inclusion and psychological safety. With experience spanning academia, activism, and organisational change, Kerri brings both lived expertise and professional knowledge to show how reducing the brain’s threat response can unlock creativity, collaboration, and wellbeing.
You’ll gain practical tools to build environments where every individual feels safe to take risks, make mistakes, and thrive.
There will be breakout sessions where you will get the chance to focus on any specific questions you may have.
➡️ By the end of the session you will:
- Understand the science behind psychological safety and its role in performance and retention.
- Identify common barriers that undermine inclusion and trust in teams.
- Leave with actionable strategies to apply immediately in your own workplace or practice.
Join us on the Thursday 2nd October at 1 pm UK time to discover how psychological safety is not just a “nice to have,” but a measurable driver of innovation, wellbeing, and organisational success.
