Neurolab: Neurodivergent Burnout

Join us for an insightful NeuroLab Session exploring one of the most overlooked challenges in neurodivergent wellbeing: burnout. This session will be led by an expert presenter (to be confirmed), bringing both lived understanding and professional insight into what neurodivergent burnout looks like, why it happens, and how to begin recognising and responding to it in a supportive, sustainable way.

Neurodivergent burnout is often misunderstood or missed entirely, leaving many individuals feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected without clear language or strategies to explain what they are experiencing. This session creates a space to deepen understanding, validate lived experience, and explore practical ways to support recovery and prevention in everyday life, work, and learning environments.

Why we developed the Neurolab: Neurodivergent Burnout

This session was developed in response to the growing need for clearer understanding and practical support around neurodivergent burnout in both professional and personal contexts. Many neurodivergent individuals and those supporting them report a lack of accessible, evidence-informed guidance that acknowledges the complexity of burnout beyond general stress models. NeuroLab created this session to bridge that gap by combining current understanding, lived experience perspectives, and practical tools that can be applied immediately in real-world settings.
