Why we developed the The Science Behind Behaviour Webinar

In the last 30 years, our understanding of how the brain operates has dramatically improved. Evidence now shows that traditional school behaviour policies often fail to align with our current knowledge of the brain’s structure and function. Unfortunately, these outdated policies can unintentionally discriminate against neurodiverse learners and those who have experienced trauma, sometimes causing significant psychological harm. This course is designed for Teachers and Senior Leaders in education who are committed to creating a progressive, inclusive behaviour policy that benefit all members of the school community.
“I thought the webinar was really well presented and informative – it was at just the right level for educators to easily understand and I loved the focus on emotional wellbeing. I’d love to share the webinar with some of my schools and my team.”
